EmBark Today training and behavior counseling offers a tailored plan to fit your needs- no matter what they may be. We utilize only force free, science based methods- which means no pain, fear, or intimidation will ever be used to change behavior. We know that not only are those methods outdated and unnecessary, they come with a high risk of "fallout" when used. While they may suppress behaviors temporarily, the unwanted behavior often comes back tenfold later down the line. We strongly believe in changing a dogs emotional state, which allows them to enjoy the training process, as well as their relationship with both the trainer and handler! Private Training1:1 Private Training, tailored to your needs
After an initial consultation of typically 1.5- 2 hours, we choose either day training or coaching based on what fits your lifestyle and schedule. During the consultation we begin to formulate our plan, and often are able to begin practicing during the session. Consultations are priced at 200$ flat. Training is priced at 135$ per hour, or 70$ per thirty minutes |
Adolescent Adventure ProgramA play-and-train outing shaped by youngsters, for youngsters
Inspired by our intact male puppy who didn't quite fit in with adult walking groups but was too old for puppy dayschool programs, we've started offering limited-space adolescent outings at Chrissy field and beach! Chrissy is a safe spot for these teens, as many adult dogs who play there are kept intact throughout their lives. This allows your young adult a safe place to practice play-skills, learn basic obedience, and really hammer in recall skills, before graduating to an adult dog walking group once they're old enough. Your adolescent will NOT be required to be spayed or neutered for this outing, which lets them fully develop into adulthood- super healthy for the mind and body. At the initial consultation which is typically 1-1.5 hours, we go over what we train during this outing, and personalize the cues to things you'll use. Hikes are roughly 60 minutes of play and training, which doesn't include pickup and dropoff- this keeps your teen out of the house for about 2 hours total. This group is limited to four pups only, so grab your space today! Consultations are priced at 150$ flat. A la carte outings are priced at 65$ per hike. Packaged outings for savings are as follows: 3 days per week, 1 month: 720$ (60$ per outing) 5 days per week, 1 month: 1100$ (55$ per outing) |
